Our New Blog Crush

We just came across this site and had to pass it along! Jaunted.com is a “pop culture travel guide for globetrotters, business road dogs, and arm chair travelers who are too harried to sit down with a traditional travel guide, or wait for a monthly travel magazine.” Aimed at grabbing the attention of those with short web-induced attention spans, they also encourage readers to submit stories about their travel adventures.

Take a look at this post, which offers their Top Five Passport Tips.

Jet Blue Live - Rock Out Before You Takeoff

If you fly through New York’s Kennedy Airport, news of a flight delay might not be so bad. Now through November 25th, Jet Blue is featuring the Live from T5 concert series in its new terminal. At 5 p.m. on select Fridays, the airline will host indie musical acts. Partnering with Superfly Productions, the airline will also run an online contest for aspiring bands. The public will choose a winner who will then play the terminal in August.

For more information, visit Jet Blue’s event page.

$157,000 Luggage Set

Excess may be passe, but we had to share this ridiculously opulent luggage offering. Bottega Veneta, known for luxurious leather goods, has a set of luggage that’s worth $157,000. The six piece set, which includes three suitcases (small, medium and large), a beauty case and a duffle bag, is finished in noce fume rich brown soft-finished alligator skin. Not in the market for a full set of luggage that is worth three times the amount of the average American income? Not to worry, because each piece is also sold individually ranging from $23,000 to $47,000…presumably worth more than the average American car.

If $30k is still out of your price range, visit Luggage Online for luggage and travel goods that are priced a bit more reasonably.
