While Pluggage might sound like some modern pirate term related to booty and “arghh!,” it’s a new luggage concept. The bag has a built-in battery/inverter and a solar panel that’s capable of charging mobile devices as the bag is rolled or exposed to direct sunlight. In about two hours with an average walking pace, the bag should be able to power a laptop for about an hour and a half. It is a nice idea if you already spend a lot of time pulling around your luggage, but having to work for power? We’d prefer to plop down near an outlet to charge up while traveling.

A few weeks back we featured a post on our assortment of netbook cases…and now there are two more that are just too cute not to mention. Knomo of London offers women’s briefcases that look as good as a handbag…packing the same style, but with total business/laptop friendly functionality. The Sofia Bag is stylish and sophisticated (don’t worry, it comes in black too). She’ll hold a netbook and is available in two sizes - Max and Mini. How cute?
Knomo doesn’t discriminate, they also have an assortment of men’s briefcases, walllets and other small leather goods. Keep your eye out later this year for men’s & women’s travel collections as well as everyday bags. To shop Knomo products, visit Luggage Online.

A netbook is a small portable laptop computer designed for wireless communication and Internet access. Primarily designed for web browsing and e-mailing, netbooks are perfect for keeping informed while on the go. Just because they’re small and inexpensive doesn’t mean you want them bouncing around in an over-sized laptop bag or compartment- they deserve their own special case.
With several options from trusted brands like Case Logic and Sumdex, Luggage Online is now offering a selection of great netbook cases. Just like their big sister- the laptop case- they are available in a basic sleeve or in a briefcase style…only smaller.
This sling by Case Logic is a simple and convenient option. With a top carry handle, as well as a long cross body or shoulder strap, there are multiple carrying options. A detailed front organizer pocket will hold your phone, mp3 player, USB, wallet…etc.
Netbook E-Sling (Large) $55.95

This futuristic looking sleeve from Sumdex offers maximum protection and a little funky style. Available in pink, blue or black, because it’s see-through, it allows you to breeze through airport security.
