REVIEW: Boyt Edge Carry Duffle (#1081)

This Boyt Edge carry duffle has a beautiful poly-suede fabric that says this is more than just a luggage item. It’s got a great look to it, it works great and it’s the perfect carry-on size. I have the larger version of this bag and I use it for all of my weekend trips or overnights trips that I take.

Perfect For (whom/what):

This carry duffle is perfect to carry-on a plane or take on a train and it will also fit right under the seat in front of you. This way you don’t have to worry about putting it in the overhead. You can fit all of your carry-on items such as some snacks, books, a change of clothes and much more into this bag. It is great for both men and women who want a different looking bag. You can use it for the gym, an overnight bag, a weekend trip, carry-on or anything else that you can think of.

Favorite Feature:

Besides the nice poly-suede fabric, my favorite feature of this bag is the back panel/slot, which is used to go right over the handle of your wheeled luggage. I don’t know about you, but every time I am traveling, my hands are full. I usually have my handbag, my carry-on, my checked luggage and all my flight information and sometimes even a bottle of water (which of course we know, we need to throw out before we go through security). I love being able to put my Boyt carry duffle right over the handle of my suitcase and then just wheel both bags at once. After I check my luggage, I add the longer strap to my Boyt duffle and use it as cross-body bag, so my hands are still free.

Drawbacks:

I don’t really have any drawbacks about this bag. However, I know that the poly-suede fabric can be a concern for some people because it is not a ballistic nylon, like most luggage is. But don’t worry, it cleans up great and it is just as durable as a ballistic nylon. FYI: A great tip to help clean up marks on this bag is by using a damp cloth with Windex, 409 or any cleaner without bleach.

Bottom Line:

I definitely recommend this bag as a carry-on. It has great features, can be used for many things and it has a great look!

You’re right! That stuff is totally easy to clean—the fabric on my couch is similar and it cleans up really easily with soap and water.
