It’s always hard to find that balance between durability and lightweight because on one hand, the airlines are without fail going to wreck your luggage (if they don’t lose it first!) but if you’re bag’s too heavy you get slammed with fees. So this is a great choice in terms of traveling in style, having a bag that stands out, surviving the trip with all of your stuff in-tact, and of course staying below that notorious 50lb limit.
